A handful of truly iconic Vintage BMX shows have come and gone in QLD in recent years, leaving behind a legacy of quality bikes and a special camaraderie. The SEQ Old School BMX Gathering is the new kid on the block, conceived to fill the void left behind by those iconic events. This is a simple, family friendly show'n'shine promising more great memories and great bikes to continue that legacy. The inaugural Gathering is all set for Sunday November 10th, 2013. Gathering-goers, here's everything you need to know:
  • If you're keen to bring your bikes along for the show, load-in for show bikes starts at 9am before the gates open to the public at 10am.
  • Please bring your own bike stands to display your bikes as there will only be a limited number of stands provided (they'll go quickly).
  • There will be no judged categories/prizes in the show, but there will be people's choice award to vote for.
  • This is an alcohol free, family friendly event (no alcohol to be consumed on the premises).
  • A free sausage sizzle and soft drinks/water will be provided.
  • The show will run until approx 2-3pm.
Thanks to the generosity of Theo Z and his team at Samios Foods for making The Gathering possible, and to Richard and Gavin from Pushies Galore for donning their learned bike-event-promo hats to help out with the setup and promo. The Old School BMX Gathering bike show'n'shine 2013
